What do I do if my pet goes missing?
Log in and mark your pet as lost. From then on, anyone who scans the tag can send you a message, share their location, or call you if you allow it. While your pet is marked safe, the tag only shows its name.
Is PetPass a GPS tracker?
No. The tag has no battery and does not track your pet. When your pet is marked as lost, the person who scans the tag can choose to share their location with you.
Does the person who finds my pet need an app?
No. They tap the tag with their phone or scan the QR code with their camera, and your pet's page opens in the browser.
What if their phone has no NFC?
Every tag also has a QR code, so any phone with a camera can open your pet's page.
Can strangers see my phone number?
Not by default. The finder sends you a message through PetPass. Your number is shown only if your pet is marked as lost and you have switched on direct calls.
Does the tag need charging?
No. There is no battery inside, so there is nothing to charge or replace.
Are there any monthly fees?
No. You pay once for the tag. Your pet's page and messages from finders are included.
Is the tag waterproof?
Yes. The tag is waterproof, so your pet can wear it in the rain and in the bath.
How do I set up my tag?
Scan the tag, create your account and add your pet's name. Your tag is then linked to your pet.
How do I order?
Message @petpasscy on Instagram. A tag costs €20, you pay in cash or by bank transfer, and we hand it over in Limassol.
